Apps:
- Twitter – Carbon – very nice twitter app and pinning saved searches to the home screen is extremely handy
- Facebook – actually I use the People Hub my Personal Tile much more than the facebook app. 02.15.2012 Updated app is well done.
- Games
- Hexic Rush – Love the XBox Arcade version and the WP7 version is just as addictive
- Angry Birds – I tried to resist but can’t stop now, just wish we would see more levels; a few new levels did come out. The final section has a facebook logo, but the episodes are near impossible.
- Plants vs Zombies – not bad.
- SubAttack!
- After using the Weather Channel app since release I have started using Amazing Weather. The live tile is great and the animation is very slick and dare I say beautiful. One annoying issue is that when you open the app it stops the media player.
- USAA – Great bank and quality phone app
- 4th and Mayor – better than even the new FourSquare native app.
- TWit
- RSS Reader: Went from RSSToGo to NextGen Reader. I am addicted to Google Reader and NextGen does a great job of synching with and provides much cleaner sharing options.
- Pass; still on the fence with this type of app. Super Password is another one I am trying. I tried 1Pass and Sky Wallet but didn’t stick with them. I didn’t think I would want a desktop or other method for data input and backup but the more I use Pass the more I wish there was that extra layer.
- TV Show – cool little application for following your favorite TV Programs and provides an easy cloud backup (handy since the Samsung Focus goes through some hard resets)
- NowPlaying – nice app to tweet the current song playing when the mood strikes
- Nixie Clock
